Painted Floors.

I'm super excited about my new apartment venture. I'm disappointed in my blogging activity.. I haven't touched my blog in quite a while. So I'm making a decision to start blogging again. It's good for personal health. I say anyway.

So back to painted floors... I love them. But my new apartment has the worst example of painted floors. But that is only temporary. I am deciding on a color this evening. I am posting some photos of the current apartment that show the floor. I can't decide on keeping it modern classic with white floors or doing a dramatic deep jewel tone. I could go either way. I want to be more adventurous but don't want to regret it.... Although Im keeping the walls white for a clean feel that will let art breathe and have negative space. Anyone have any ideas? Send me your thoughts and images!

Oh the first days

I just returned from a much needed vacation to the beautiful NC Outer Banks. It was stunning... it felt like home. Sea Women.... Land hooooo. I loved every minute of it .. even though I was in a car accident and had to get stitches in my toe from the boat prop... opps! Now I am back in Richmond and have the motivation I need with no distractions. Today I am upcycling an old record storage table with Eco-Friendly finishes of course... she's gonna be a great vessel for storing your classics! Here is the before ... along with a picture of my motivation... Something gotta pay for those 9 proud stitches right!

This is my first post.

i'm starting out on a venture of making things for a living... it's a little scary but its something i have been doing all my life. i am realizing at a fairly young age that i need to focus on what is going to make me happy in life. it's never been making money; its always been making a difference, being creative, and making someone happy. So here it goes.... as im listening to amelie station on last fm...
